Group ki masti or G masti ??
Well some of you might be wondering why such a weird title. The reason behind it n all. So let me tell you about it. I had been down to Goa for my vacations and in such holidays you get lot of idle time for your so called brain storming sessions.
One thing led to another and it was a series of thoughts. I found that as we grow up we get so narrowed down that we avoid big group of friends. Sub groups occur since we feel we have too many differences or the same people with whom we had the most awesome times are now boring. We become more choosy or maybe weird and the group gets fragmented. Every one has his own ways, agreed! But I think friendship is enough for you to make everyone stick together.
Many people get distanced away or reduce contacts after their graduation, some get too heavily into a relationship that it seems as if they are already married to a nagging wife "Aye mister, you better spend your time more with me", some get too serious about life wondering what to do next, some get crazily into rat race of answering a dozen of entrance exams and applying for jobs, some just prefer to shut their mouths because they think college is over so I should invest more time healthily in thinking what to do ahead (read as restricting your movements inside ones house practically doing nothing). The reasons are numerous enough to fill a toilet paper roll!
Whatever it maybe I don't think so it's hard enough to have a reunion once a month or 2. It's always nice to meet your people back, share a laugh, get nostalgic, create some more memories and yeah plan the next reunion. We get so serious in our life that we all forget maintaining that contact. No. Groups on WhatsApp don't count. That warmth of human companionship is missing!
Before I sign off, I'd like all of you to think one simple thing. Why were we so happy when we were kids & why are we burdened with tensions and sorrows now?
One major reason is we all used to hang out, play, stay together, be together and TALK & not text. Life is always good when you've your people around. Treasure 'em. Value 'em!
Stick together team.
Peace
